This is a great resource because it is an interactive money lesson. It can be used as a review after the introduction to pennys, nickels, dimes, and quarters. The first couple pages recaps the value of the coins and what they look like. From there, the students can practice identifying the coins, sorting the coins, and recognizing the value of the coins.
The technology equipment’s that are available in the classroom are: laptops, SMARTboard, and a document camera.
All of the technologies that were available were used while I was in the field. Most of the technologies were used every day. The SMARTboard was used everyday to read the story the students were reading to them, and was used every day in math by using an envision math program. The document camera was used to show handouts and explain classwork throughout the day. The laptops were used frequently throughout the week to play math games. The students looked forward to because it was a fun way to practice their math skills.
